One of the major concern for Andhra Pradesh students and jobseekers aspiring to fly abroad is the long queues in front of NRI Department in the State Secretariat for authentication of their certificates.
To make the process user-friendly Government of Andhra Pradesh has enabled the Advance slot booking facility through an exclusive NRI portal.
Appointment for verification or for authentication of educational certificates and for attestation of other certificates/documents can be taken via the normal mode or the tatkal(urgent) mode.
The fees for tatkal(urgent) services are double the normal fees. The only hitch is that the fee can be deposited by Demand Draft. ePayment of fees is not part of the Portal.
The Web portal will provide online registration of the attestation of personal documents like marriage certificates, no objection certificates and authentication of educational certificates and store the said data. The government has launched a pilot project for management of application system of NRI affairs on migration profiling and to provide online services.
The documents can be presented by the candidate directly or they can authorize any other person to complete the authentication/attestation process.
