Bharatiya Mahila Bank (BMB) customers have to wait for another few months, before they can access their accounts through internet and mobile banking.
At present the bank is concentrating on building a critical mass of customers by opening branches in all the State capitals of India.
It may be noted that ATMs were started from Day 1, with all BMB branches having an ATM located in the branch premises.
Internet and Mobile Banking services will be economical only when there are a large number of existing customers. It is estimated that 25% of any banks’ customers access the Internet and Mobile Banking services.
It is a new experience for existing bank customers to access their accounts only phsycially!!
