Bank of India, with over 4300+branches all over India, reconsigned the need of its account holders to access their latest account balance anywhere, anytime, at a minimal cost. After evaluating multiple options, it decided to adopt the ‘miss call’, tool.
Bank of India hence launched a unique facility for its customers to know their latest account balance any time, any where.
The account holders have just to give a Miss Call to 022-33598548, through their registered mobile number.
This service is free-of-cost and the SMS is received instantly. Isn’t this simple and effective?
The ‘missed call’, phemnomenon is very in South Asia, the Philippines and Africa as a way of communicating pre-agreed messages for free.
Bank of India is one of the first Banks in India, to harness the powers of ‘miss call’, to connect with its account holders.
This initiative has recognised by Skoch Foundation and is part of the Skoch Awards 2013 list.
