The project has five phases, and now Phase 1 has begun. Under the first phase, the company will develop its premises with an investment of Rs 550 crore within two years.
After the completion of first-phase, 5000 people will get direct employment and 15,000 others will get indirect employment at the facility.
The facility will be completed fully in five phases, after which 25,000 people would get direct and another one lakh would get indirect employment, they said.
Land was allotted to TCS at concessional rates, on the condition that 50% of jobs would be provided to people from Madhya Pradesh.
The major beneficiaries would be IIM, Indore students.
The proposed TCS Indore Campus will comprise software engineering blocks, training facilities, amphitheatre, and other facilities to offer a holistic environment to knowledge professionals.
There will be water bodies and green areas, and the park will incorporate green building concepts such as zero discharge, energy efficient systems, rain water harvesting systems and integrated building management systems.
AKVN is also constructing one direct road from Indore Airport to Pithampur which will cut the travel time to 25 minutes.
In the next few years, the state’s biggest Biodiversity park at Tigariya Baadshah will be built on Super Corridor. The park will be developed to increase the beauty of super corridor and to take care of the environment.
IDA has proposed budged of 6 cr rupee for the park in 17 hectares area. The proposed area is near from the lands of TCS and Infosys.
